I came for the markets. I stayed for the pattern.

I'm Daniel Malka. I trade the markets intraday — I came to them like most traders do, looking for patterns, a strategy, an edge. What I didn't expect to find was that the same patterns that decide whether a trade holds are the ones that decide whether a life holds.

אני דניאל מלכא. אני סוחר בשווקים בתוך היום — הגעתי אליהם כמו רוב הסוחרים, בחיפוש אחר תבניות, אסטרטגיה, יתרון. מה שלא ציפיתי למצוא הוא שאותן תבניות שמכריעות אם עסקה מחזיקה הן אלה שמכריעות אם חיים מחזיקים.

The cup and handle is a shape every trader knows from the screen. Sitting with it long enough, I started to see it everywhere off the screen too — in a career that stalls, a rebuild after a fall, the quiet stretch before something breaks out. A rise, a drift, a decline that turns out to be a cleansing, a slow base, and then an opening. Nine stages, one circle.

So I wrote it down. That became the book, Beyond the Pattern — first the laws behind the pattern, then a journey through its halls. And out of the book came this: a place to sit with someone in a season of movement and do the exact work their stage is asking for. Not motivation, not a verdict — the work of the stage.

I also hold rabbinic ordination — a background that lets the work draw on a language of meaning and tradition, alongside the plain, practical language of the market. I mentor in English and in Hebrew, online, from the United States.
